Coaching Contract and Duties
JOYFUL HEALTH CO COACH AGREEMENT 2022
By signing this contract, I, ______________, the independent contractor agree to be a Joyful Health coach for the year 2022 and will perform the work for the following projects and services according to the stipulations below:
Blog Posts
The independent contractor will complete one blog post each quarter for Joyfulhealth.co on a topic related to intuitive eating, joyful movement, mental health in Christ, christ-centered body image or something similar upon approval from either Kasey Shuler or Aubrey Golbek of Joyful Health Co.
Joyful Health Co agrees to provide compensation for blog posts at the rate of $20.00 per blog post, up to four posts per year. The independent contractor,______________relinquishes all publishing rights of the blog content to Joyful Health Co, and is permitted to share links to blog posts on their personal social media channel or website.
Success statements: Write a blog post in accordance with these guidelines
Client Coaching Services
The independent contractor,_____________agrees to provide twelve, one-hour live group health coaching sessions to Joyful Health Co course participants and social media community members via Zoom calls and live social media streaming services. The independent contractor relinquishes the ownership rights to all recorded coaching calls they participate in to Joyful Health Co.
Success Statements:
Pray at the beginning and the end using a Scripture
Greet each person and make a connection. Ask:
A check-in question: “How are you doing with the course so far?” “What has your experience been with the content?” “Is there anything that has stuck out to you so far?” “Do you have any questions so far?” “What has been a win for you this week, and what is still a struggle?”
A faith question: “How have you seen God’s grace this week?” “What are you hoping the Lord will show you in your health journey this month?”
A support question: “How can we support you in prayer?” (then followup and pray for them) “What does accountability look like for you in this season?” “What’s a next step you are willing to take for your health this week this week?”
Conversation flows smoothly
Be aware of dominating the conversation and sharing the speaking responsibility
Minimize silence with conversation and questions unless you are waiting on someone to respond to your question
Feel free to share your story to contextualize a teaching or question for someone else
End by asking for any other practical questions or suggestions for the course
“Are you accessing the course, content, and community well?”
“Have you found a partner, and how is that going?”
“Do you have any suggestions for what you’d like to see in the course or as a resource in Joyful Health?”
Joyful Health Co agrees to provide compensation to the independent contractor for group health coaching at the rate of $20.00 per one-hour session up to twelve sessions per year.
The independent contractor_______________ agrees to provide four hours of community support, answering questions in the Joyful Health course community page and in the Joyful Health Co general and alumni Facebook groups. The independent contractor understands they are responsible for keeping track of hours spent providing community support, and agrees not to provide community support above four hours over the course of the year.
Success Statements:
15 min community check-in per week

Joyful Health Co agrees to provide compensation to the independent contractor for community support at the rate of $20.00 per one-hour of support up to four hours per year.
Team Consulting Services
The independent contractor,_____________agrees to provide five hours of business consulting services by attending and participating in scheduled Joyful Health team meetings. These will include ten thirty minute meetings throughout the year.
Joyful Health Co agrees to provide compensation at the rate of $20.00 per hour of team consulting services performed by the independent contractor, up to five hours a year.

Payments
By signing this document the independent contractor, ____________agrees to receive payment and Joyful Health Co agrees to render payment for projects completed and services rendered according to this contract bi-annually, once by the last day of May 2022 and once by the last day of November 2022.
Right to End Contract
By signing this contract, the independent contractor,_____________ understands that either party, Joyful Health Co, or the independent contractor has the right to cancel this contract by written notice at will. Payment will be provided for services rendered and projects completed up until cancellation of the contract on the nearest payment date, either the last day of May 2022 or the last day of November 2022.
