Weak Pelvic Floor? 7 Simple Steps to Start Strong Today with Jennifer Lormand

Oct 27, 2026

If you've ever skipped the trampoline, crossed your legs before a sneeze, or felt like you're always running to the bathroom, this episode is for you.

My guest, Jennifer Lormand, is an exercise physiologist, author, researcher, and co-founder of Tighten Your Tinkler. After three babies, she was diagnosed with stage 2 prolapse at 36 and told she'd need surgery. Instead, she went looking for another way, and now she helps women heal their pelvic floor without Kegels or invasive devices. This conversation is part of my own story too.

Here's what we'll cover:

  • What your pelvic floor actually is, and why an overly tight pelvic floor is still a weak one
  • The everyday signs your pelvic floor needs attention (and the bladder myth your mom may have told you)
  • Simple, low-cost changes you can start today, from a toilet stool to sizing up your waistbands

As women, we pour so much into caring for others that we often put our own bodies on the back burner. My hope is that you walk away believing that healing is possible for you, and that the body God gave you is worth the time it takes to care of.

About Jennifer Lormand and Tighten Your Tinkler

As someone living & thriving with Stage 2 prolapse for the last 11 years, Jenn Lormand knows the power of transforming pain into purpose. Together with Tighten Your Tinkler cofounder Christina Walsh, Jenn helps women with pelvic floor issues find healing – without kegels or invasive devices. Jenn draws from her own vulnerable story and decades of professional experience to deliver actionable advice mixed with a message of hope.

When she’s not supporting the Tinkler community online, this New Orleans native loves exploring the outdoors with her boys (hubby Greg + 3 sons), leading ministries at her church, and cooking heirloom recipes with just a little too much cayenne.
