How To Prioritize Your Days with The Lord

Do you feel like there’s a disparity between the rhythms you want to practice and the way you spend your days? Or maybe it feels like there just never seems to be time for what you value most in life. This week’s conversation is for you. We got together with our team to talk about how we prioritize our days with the Lord to practice what matters most to us and to him.

Because living in alignment with our identity in Christ and the values we hold matters. It matters for our spiritual, mental, and physical health. We hope what we’ve learned over the years of coaching others and living our own lives will be helpful to you.

All four of us are in different seasons of life with unique circumstances and challenges. And while you may not recognize yourself in all of us, we hope you’ll relate to some pieces of our story and find grace and guidance for your own.

What We Talk About in This Episode

In this episode all four members of our team discuss the ways in which we’ve learned to prioritize our days for what matters with the Lord. Included in our group we have:

  • A dietitian, author, and homeschooling mom — Aubrey Golbek,

  • A personal trainer, author and stay-at-home mom – Kasey Shuler,

  • A dietitian, newlywed and owner of Grace Rooted Nutrition — Megan Becker

  • And a trainer, author and work from home mama – Amanda Reynolds

We take turns answering the following:

  1. What it feels like when our days are prioritized well and we’re aligned with the Lord in our rhythms

  2. What it looks like when we’re frazzled and feeling out of alignment with who God made us to be

  3. How we get back to a place of resting in God’s grace for our day to day lives

  4. Our biggest tips for prioritizing what matters most with the Lord.

About the Joyful Health Team

Meet the team

The Joyful Health Team formed when personal trainer and author of Move for Joy, Kasey Shuler reached and dietitian and author of Grace, Food, and Everything in Between, Aubrey Golbek connected over their shared mission to see Christian women enjoy food, movement and their bodies from a place of grace. The two combined their experience and passion to create the Joyful Health Course. Soon afterwards Megan Becker, dietitian and owner of Grace Rooted Nutrition and Revelation Wellness trainer and author of Good to Grow, Amanda Reynolds joined the team. All of them share a vision to see people set free to enjoy true health by grace. The team works together to create resources that help Christians integrate their faith and health including online courses, books, journals, podcasts and more.
